This past Sunday we had our first class in jokadiaGRID and Jo Kay Wollongong, who happens to be the creator of this virtual world, came to speak with us. Also, technotool tim also came to share with us some of the things that he has been doing in North Country at jokadia with his class to promote learning.
One thing that technotool tim said that stuck with me the most was that the kids who might not normally like writing in class, or felt a bit bored would become animated in the virtual classroom.
Next class I will be sure to keep a log. ;)
